According to Tom Hrncirik, A.G., the title Tam za moem je
Amerika is translated to mean They went by sea to
America. This bilingual Czech-English book is a
compilation of information about many persons who immigrated in
the 1800's from the Frydek Mistek District of Moravia (but also
includes elsewhere in Moravia and some from Bohemia as well).
This book is currently OUT OF PRINT, and NO sources of it are
known to the webmaster or Mr. Hrncirik.
The book was published by the Museum at Frenstat pod Radhostem,
Moravia on 6 August 1992. We understand they have no more copies
available and, more importantly ,it is understood they have no
plans to reprint it.
However this book is often found in many Czech and Moravian
collections of Czech and Czechoslovak genealogy societiesin North
America and well as North American and European libraries and
archives.
