I am trying to research my Danish family. My grandfather was Hans Christian ANDREASEN born 31 May 1904. Our family also uses the surname LINDHOLM-ANDREASEN. I believe this means they came from the Parish of Lindholm, Kaer District, Aalborg county, Deenmark, but I don't know for sure. As far as I know my grandfather lived in Aalborg all his life, although I have heard he may have come from Odense originally. I think he also served in the navy during WWII. Any further information you might find that would allow me to research further would be greatly appreciated.Thank you.

I am looking for my grandfather, Kristen KRISTENSEN. He was engaged to Sorine Martine NIELSEN in Denmark. No marriage records has been found for them. They had two children, both born at Helberskov: Egon, born 6 January 1917 and Margrethe, born 22 January 1918. Sorine Martine was born 17 June 1888 at Odde, Als Parish, Aalborg County, Denmark and died 8 January 1919 of the "black pest." Grandfather Kristen KRISTENSEN worked on a farm at Odde in January 1917. By January 1918 he was working on a farm at Smidie. This is not much to go by, but I am hoping someone will know something of my grandfather. Thank you.

I've found an old picture from our family's photos from Denmark. It pictures a relative in front of a school with the name carved in stone. It is difficult to read, but it looks like "Morrison R. Malte High School." The fact that "high school" is in English makes me wonder whether it is in Denmark after all. Any one know of this school in Denmark (probably the Copenhagen area)? Thanks.
Webmaster's Note: We normally refuse to post inadequate entires of this sort, since it does not mention the basic genealogy purpose for obtaining this information - i.e. finding a specific ancestor. By posting "what is known" (in a search for an ancestor or two) along with such a query, there is a much higher chance that a successful result will occcur.
