“Finding Your German Ancestors: What You Need to Know to Get Started”
Ms. Davis will discuss what records to look for, where to find these records, and what to do if you don’t speak or read German.
Jayne Davis is a professional genealogist who lives in Columbus, Ohio. She has produced webinars on genealogical topics and is a frequent lecturer to the Ohio Chapter of Palatines to America and to other genealogical societies in the Midwest.

“ Finding Old Maps on the Internet”
Dr. Bainbridge will discuss what sorts of German maps, particularly ones of historical value, are available on the internet, where to find them, and how to use them with other types of German records.
Dr. Ted Bainbridge has been a genealogical researcher, teacher, speaker, and writer since 1959. He has served as President of the Longmont Genealogical Society and as a staff member in LDS Family History Centers. His genealogical and historical articles have been published by many organizations in the US and the UK. He frequently speaks to organizations on the Front Range.
The cost of the workshop will be $5.00, payable at the door by cash or check only.
