Directions: To reach the Family History Center located in the Mission Valley area of San Diego: Go east on Interstate 8 from either Interstate 5 or Route 163 and exit at Fairmount Avenue South (complicated exit). Just past light turn right onto Camino del Rio South. Go about one-quarter mile and turn left into the FHC parking lot. From Interstate 15, exit onto Camino del Rio South at Interstate 8, turning east at light. Go about one-half mile and turn right into FHC parking lot. Alternate route from the South: From 805, take Home Avenue, turning right. Turn left on Fairmount and, approaching Mission Valley and Interstate 8, keep in the left hand lane and turn left into Camino del Rio South.

N.B. The Family History Center parking lot has two entrances. It is recommended that you use the easternmost exit as very poor visibility exists at the other one.
