Genealogical Society of California. He has co-authored (with
Iwona Cholewa, Editor) a book Poland: Directory of Affordable
Accomodations. It lists over 600 interesting lodgings and 62
volunteeer representatives (who act as hospitality hosts and
hostesses) in 350 cities, towns, and villages throughout
Poland.
This directory is a tremendous asset for those persons
considering a trip to Poland -- persons such as genealogy record
searchers, tourists, business persons, etc. -- who are seeking
inexpensive accomodations. The book includes private homes,
hotels, motels, pensions, excursion homes, vacation centers,
forester's homes, artist work centers, water-side facilities,
equestrian facilities, recreation sports facilities,
restaurant/hotel facilities, castles, palaces, farm houses and
agra-tourist facilities.
The book costs US$17.00 postpaid to U.S. addresses (California
residents add US$1.23 sales tax).
