The files in these volumes have been created from The Slovenian Genealogy Society's Everyname Master Index of Church Histories, by Mary Lou Davison and formatted by James C. Davison.

Coding of Volumes: These volumes each contain indexes to 26 Slovenian-American church histories: Expanation of the Code: Each name in these indexes is followed by a 2 letter code indicating the book from which it was abstracted and the page number or numbers. A small "p" following a number indicates a photograph.

Multiple Listings and Spelling Variations: The books were individually indexed and then combined to create the master index for the volume. Consequently there may be several listings for the same name. It is the researcher's responsibility to determine if they are the same person. The names were indexed as they appeared. Since some were mis-spelled, it is wise to check for spelling variants and transliterations.

SGS Needs More Slovenian Books: SGS has been collecting Slovenian church histories, jubilee books, and souvenir booklets for ten years. We still do not have a complete collection. We welcome donations of church histories. Where originals are not obtainable, photocopies are accepted.
