B>To search for a surname, village name, etc., use the "Find"
button on your Netscape or other browser. It works just like
the search command that is on all modern word processors.
The following pages are translations of various articles on
Slovene pioneers that appeared in the publication called Novi
Svet in the 1940s. We do not have a complete collection of
these works, but the following paragraphs on slovene should
increase the awareness of Slovene genealogists concerning the
abundance of information available on our immigrant
ancestors.
Please enjoy searching these pages for information about your
immigrant ancestor. Most of the individuals written about
settled in Michigan, Minnesota, or Wisconsin, but there is a
small amount of information about individuals who settled in
Ohio.
If you have copies of Novi Svet to share with us,
please mail them to Slovenian Genealogy Society, 52 Old Farm
Road, Camp Hill, Pa 17011- The more you donate, the more
we can get to translators. By the way, we can always use
additional translators.
