Cynthia S. Jacobson

Cynthia Spurgat Jacobson has researched ancestors in Kreis Rosenberg, West Prussia and the Suwalki Governorate, now southwestern Lithuania. She has published four 600 page fully cited, family history books, one on each grandparent plus three addendums. 

She has worked on the Germanic Genealogy Journal, publication of the Germanic Genealogy Society as contributor or editor for 25 years. She is also the editor in chief of Die Weite (The Wandering) publication of the International Association of Germans from Lithuania, now in its 6th year. She has presented at SGGEE, a Connections session at IGGP, and FEEFHS where she has done presentations on Solving Brick Walls, Writing and Publishing a Family History Book, Results of Starting a Genealogical Blog, Researching in East and West Prussia, How Germans Came to East Prussia and Lithuania, and the International Association of Germans from Lithuania with Owen McCafferty II in 2022.
