Conference Venue and Lodging

Venue

Registration, workshops, classes and social events will be held at the Salt Lake Plaza Hotel at Temple Square. Conveniently located in the heart of downtown, the Plaza is next door to the FamilySearch Library. Temple Square is across the street. Other historical sites, shopping, dining, and many arts venues are nearby. The Plaza Hotel is located at 122 West South Temple.

TRAX, Salt Lake’s light rail, stops right outside the front of the Plaza Hotel at the Temple Square stop connecting visitors with the airport and train station. The hotel may be reached by bus as well. See Conference Travel.

Lodging

The Plaza Hotel offers spacious rooms with microwaves, refrigerators, complimentary wireless internet access, and in-room safes. Amenities include an onsite gift shop, free guest computers in the lobby, an exercise room, small outdoor pool, and indoor jacuzzi.

Make Your Hotel Reservations

These early bird rates are only available by phone and only until July 7, 2024. After that date, higher rates will apply.

To make your reservation at the early-bird conference rate, call the hotel reception desk at 801-521-0130. Be sure to refer to the FEEFHS group rates quoted above. Some of the hotel staff may know our conference by the acronym “FEEFHS” or may need the full title, “The Foundation for East European Family History Studies.” If there is any confusion, ask to be forwarded to the Hotel Manager Rich Williams, who is very familiar with FEEFHS and its annual conferences. If he is not available, contact FEEFHS for assistance.
