Emma Ruddy
Ever since a beginning family history course at BYU, Emma has been enthusiastically dedicated to learning everything she can about preserving and recording family history. She has also assisted numerous patrons in recording, organizing, and digitizing their family research as a BYU Library reference assistant. Her own work has been focused on immigrants from Germany and Scandinavia. She has contributed to the "German Immigrants in American Church Records" book series. She graduates from BYU with her Bachelor of Family History in April 2024.
In a world filled with ever more technology, Emma is committed to helping others learn how to use technology to enhance their genealogy research capabilities. Emma believes that anyone can learn how to use technology for their research journey and hopes that she can help others gain confidence in their abilities to navigate the ever-growing field of genealogy.
