Jalyse Ortiz

Jalyse Ortiz is an Accredited Genealogist® in Eastern Germany. Jalyse works at the FamilySearch library in SLC as a Slavic research consultant. She has a bachelor’s degree in sociology and a minor in family history and genealogy. Jalyse’s research interests include Poland, Germany, Czechia, the United States, and DNA research. She completed an internship at Auschwitz Birkenau Memorial and Museum.
