Michael Andrec

Michael Andrec has been the archivist at the Ukrainian History and Education Center in Somerset, NJ since 2010, where he has been responsible for preserving and making accessible hundreds of legacy and recently acquired collections, as well as exhibition curation, digitization of audio and paper-based materials, outreach, and reference services. Since 2021 he has also been an archives consultant for the Shevchenko Scientific Society in New York, NY, where he has worked on archival preservation, description, and metadata migration. He is a member of the Academy of Certified Archivists and other professional archives organizations.
